XOLO Q1000 Opus up for pre-order for Rs. 9999, has 5-inch display, quad-core Broadcom processor
XOLO Q1000 Opus was teased a short while back, saying that it will feature Broadcom's first quad-core chipset BCM23550. Finally, the Q1000 Opus is now available on pre-order for Rs. 9999. The specs of the device are decidedly mid-range but with a very disappointing FWVGA resolution for the 5-inch display. Its a dual-SIM device with dual-standby much like other XOLO phones, XOLO Power and XOLO Secure will also find a way into the Q1000 Opus. The phone is quite thin at about 9mm.

The new Broadcom chipset uses Cortex-A7 cores, which aren't that powerful but offer better battery life and come with ARM Neon extension support which enhance multimedia and gaming performance. The XOLO Q1000 Opus only comes in White color and is currently available on pre-order for Rs. 9999 from Flipkart and Infibeam.
