Xiaomi Router AX6000 launched with Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, up to 6000Mbps wireless speed
Xiaomi also launched its first top-end Wi-Fi 6 router Mi AIoT Router AX6000 in China along with Mi 11 smartphone after it introduced the AX3600 model earlier this year. It supports up to 6000Mbps wireless transmission speed with 4×4 160MHz bandwidth. According to the company, it is the world’s first router that supporting 4K QAM technology with higher data transmission density, which increases network speed by 20% faster.
The router comes with a 2500Mbps Ethernet port, 6 independent signal amplifiers, supports mesh networking, Xiaomi Share, and more. It works on Mi-WiFi ROM based on OpenWRT, is runs on the Qualcomm IPQ5018 processor that uses a 1.0GHz Network Processor Unit (NPU). It has 512MB RAM and dual-band support. The company claims the router can deliver up to 574Mbps speeds on 2.4GHz frequency and up to 4,804Mbps on 5GHz.
