Xiaomi Redmi 2 to get a price-cut tomorrow in India
Xiaomi has started new social networking profiles for its Redmi line-up in India alongwith a teaser image which shows Rs. 5999 and contains the text "TO DO: PAINT THE TOWN RED." Although its not exactly clear as to whether the Redmi 2 is getting a price-cut or are we going to see the Redmi 2A launch. We will know for sure tomorrow, 7th July at 10AM on Mi.com.
But we might have a hint, Xiaomi has just announced a 100 Yuan (about Rs. 1000 or $16) price cut on the Redmi 2 in China, so that's what might be coming here as well.
The Redmi 2 is an excellent smartphone with a 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8MP/2MP cameras running Android KitKat with MIUI on top. We reviewed the device earlier and found it to perform well in day-to-day use as well as in general tasks without any heating. You can watch our Review above.
