Xiaomi Redmi 1S launched in India with 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 for Rs. 6999
Xiaomi Redmi 1S has been launched in India featuring a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 Pixels) IPS display, 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC with Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM which is expandable upto 32 GB for Rs. 6999. The Redmi 1S also features a 8 MP f/2.2 aperture primary camera with BSI Sensor, LED flash and a 1.6 MP front-facing camera. It runs MiUI ROM which is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The Redmi 1S comes with a 2000 mAh battery. It is a dual-SIM phone with 3G connectivity, USB OTG support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and sound boosting tech called Dirac Sound. It would be available in several colors priced at Rs. 6999 and is expected to go on sale soon.
