Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 Confirmed with 4.01-inch Outer Display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and 5165mAh Battery ahead of June 26 Launch
Xiaomi has unveiled the design and key specifications of its upcoming MIX Flip 2 compact foldable phone, following the confirmation of its launch event in China on June 26th. The official images showcase that the device will be available in black, gold, purple, and cyan.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will feature a three-sided equal-depth micro-curved display, a frosted metal mid-frame, and a redesigned hinge mechanism. Xiaomi also highlighted the screen’s impressively flat appearance when unfolded. Under the hood, the MIX Flip 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and packs a 5165mAh battery. It also includes a 4.01-inch multifunctional external display and carries Leica-branded camera optics.
Camera details revealed in the image confirm the use of a Leica Summilux lens with an f/1.7 aperture and 23mm focal length for the main sensor, along with a secondary ultra-wide camera featuring an f/2.2 aperture and 14mm focal length, suggesting a shift from telephoto to ultra-wide compared to the previous MIX Flip.
Xiaomi noted that the MIX Flip 2 will measure just 7.57mm thick when unfolded, slightly slimmer than the 7.8mm MIX Flip. However, it will weigh 199g, making it 7g heavier than its predecessor.
