Xiaomi Mi Max goes official in China with 6.44-inch Display, 4850 mAh Battery
Xiaomi's massive phablet, Mi Max is now official with a 6.44-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass. There are two variants of the Mi Max, one is powered by the Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor or the Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. The Mi Max is the first smartphone running on MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
Similar to the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon variant you have a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The Mi Max too has a unibody metal construction which is just 7.9mm in thickness and still manages to keep a 4850 mAh battery underneath the hood. You also have a fingerprint sensor present here alongwith an infra-red blaster.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (VoLTE) support with Dual-SIM slots which in this case is a hybrid slot, meaning you can use the 2nd SIM slot to expand storage. You also have dual-band WiFiac support, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS onboard.
You can get the Mi Max with 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage or 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max comes in gold, silver and light grey colors.

- Xiaomi Mi Max 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage (Snapdragon 650): 1499 Yuan (About $230 or Rs. 15000)
- Xiaomi Mi Max 3GB RAM, 64GB Storage (Snapdragon 652): 1699 Yuan (About $260 or Rs. 17000)
- Xiaomi Mi Max 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage (Snapdragon 652): 1999 Yuan (About $300 or Rs. 20500)
