Xiaomi CEO shows off the new Mi Band 2 with a display, physical button
In an earlier post we told you about the Mi Band 2 which is expected to be launched on the May 10th event and right on cue we have Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun showing off the alleged Mi Band 2 with a display.
In the image above we see Lei Jun, wearing a sleek wearable which is not big enough for a watch but small enough to be a fitness tracker and possibly is the next-generation Mi Band.
The image shows that the device has a screen (finally) which is showing the time at present and may also show the number of steps walked, heart-rate (BPM) and other stats. Then there's a huge button on the right which would allow you to browse through the steps, so possibly no touch-screen display here.
Xiaomi is hosting an event on May 10th in China where they will announce the 6.4-inch Mi Max and we expected to see some extras and it looks like the CEO just confirmed that the Mi Band 2 is coming on the same day as well.
