Xiaomi Mi A3 (Android One) launched in India starting at Rs. 12999 with 6-inch AMOLED display, triple rear cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor
Xiaomi has just launched their latest mid-range Android One smartphone, the Mi A3, in India. It gets a 6.088-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display, making the interface and your photos look generally punchier.
It runs on the Snapdragon 665 (11nm) processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage with Android 9.0 (Pie).
Xiaomi says the Mi A3 will be one of the first smartphones to get Android Q update. This is the first Mi A series smartphone to get an in-display fingerprint scanner. Moreover, Xiaomi has increased the fingerprint area by 15% which gives better detection.
Coming to the camera features, it has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor at f/1.79 aperture along with 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front side, it comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera that merges four pixels into a large 1.6μm pixel for better low-light images and then it also has AI beautify mode.
The back of the phone has a 3D curved glass design that is said to offer a holographic effect and also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 to protect against minor scratches.
The device has a 4030mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (18W), but inside the box you will get the standard 10W charger. You can buy a Quick charge 3.0 compatible charge separately from Mi.com.
The device comes in three color variants, Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Grey.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 has been priced starting at Rs.12,999 for the 4GB RAM version with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs.15,999. You can purchase it from Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores available from August 23 and is will also available through offline stores later.
