Xiaomi Mi A1 Stable Android 8.0 Oreo Update is now Available
Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched with Android 7.1 Nougat back in September in India. Now, the company has started rolling our stable Android 8.0 Oreo for the smartphone after a month of beta testing.
This is the most affordable smartphone running Android Oreo available in India. Xiaomi further added this would be the first smartphone to get Android P update as well.
There are a lot of new features baked into Android 8.0 build for the Xiaomi Mi A1. Here's everything you need to know about the update.
Xiaomi Mi A1 Android Requirements and Features:
- You need to be running on v7.12.19 (Android Nougat Build) to get updated to v7.12.29 Android Oreo.
- Update Size: 1107.4 MB
- Carries December 2017 Android Security Patch
- Brings Picture-in-picture (PIP) mode for videos, Snoozing individual notifications, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, Pro Audio support, limits on Background activity and a lot more.
The update is being rolled out in batches and should arrive on all Mi A1 devices by the end of January.
