Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra launching on March 29 with Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 SoC, up to 120x zoom camera
Today, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch its latest flagship smartphone the Mi 11 Pro / Mi 11 Ultra at a Xiaomi Mega Launch Event on March 29th in China. The teaser image shows a large curved screen and the phone has also posted an image of the Mi 11 Pro phone box. In global markets, the company teases it as #XiaomiMegaLaunch where it expected to introduce both the phone along with the Mi 11 Lite.
As per the earlier rumors, the Mi 11 Pro / Ultra will feature a four-sided curved punch-hole 6.8-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will be run on the latest Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It will come with a triple rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN2 1/1.12″ sensor along with a 48MP ultra-wide and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens that supports up to 120x zoom. It could retain the 20MP front-facing camera from the Mi 10 Ultra.
The MI 11 Ultra prototype surfaced last month that shows a tiny secondary screen on the back of the phone when capturing selfies or recording videos by using the rear camera and display the content of the main screen. It will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging with 67W GaN charger, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10w wireless reverse charging. Some rumors revealed IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

There are some rumors about Mi Pad 5 that reveals a 10.95-inch QHD+ 144Hz screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and runs on the latest Snapdragon 870 processor. It will come with a dual rear camera setup where a 20MP primary camera along with a 13MP secondary camera. The thickness of the tab should be 8.13mm sleek body and weigh 510g. The company already confirmed that it will launch a new tablet in 2021, but it is not confirmed will it launch at the Xiaomi Mega Launch Event on March 29th.
