This is Xiaomi's fordable, electric bike and it doesn't come cheap
Xiaomi has just announced its new urban smart electric bike which is foldable. The MIJIA QiCycle has a patented design where the main beam holds the bike together, while the handle and forks can be folded to easily carry the bike.
Being an electric bike, it has a Panasonic 18650 mAh battery which is built into the frame and lasts for 45 KM on a single charge. The QiCycle is also equipped with torque sensing technology, which assists the rider with pedaling. So, if you were moving uphill there will be lot more assistance from the motor than when going downhill.
The QiCycle weighs in at 13.5kg which is not exactly portable but still quite light for an electric bike. It has been priced at CNY 2999 (about Rs. 30600 or $455) and will be available through crowdfunding in China starting today.
