Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger launched in India at Rs. 1,799 with Cable, PD 3.0 and PPS Support

Xiaomi has launched its latest GaN charger in the accessories lineup, the Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger in India. As the name suggests, the adapter uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to deliver fast charging speeds in a compact design that is noticeably smaller than conventional silicon-based chargers.

The key highlight of the device is its compact size. Powered by third-generation GaN technology, the charger features a significantly reduced footprint, making it easy to carry in a pocket or small pouch—ideal for travel and everyday use.

Despite its small form factor, the charger delivers up to 45W of maximum output, enabling fast charging for a wide range of devices. It supports major fast-charging standards such as PD 3.0 (Power Delivery), QC 3.0 (Quick Charge), and PPS (Programmable Power Supply), ensuring broad compatibility beyond Xiaomi products.

The charger works with Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones, as well as iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices. It can also power lightweight laptops like the MacBook Air and tablets, including iPads and Xiaomi Pads. For safety, Xiaomi has incorporated multiple protection features, including safeguards against overvoltage, input overcurrent, short circuits, overheating, and low electromagnetic interference.

The Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger is available in white and is priced at Rs. 1,799. Xiaomi also bundles a USB Type-C to Type-C cable in the box. The charger is currently available via mi.com and offline retail stores.
