Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro launched Globally with 6.59-inch 120Hz/6.83-inch 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, Dimensity 8500-Ultra/Dimensity 9500 SoC
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones in its 17T series, the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, during a launch event in Austria, as promised. For the first time in the T Series lineup, Xiaomi is introducing two different device sizes, giving users the option to choose between a compact form factor and a larger flagship experience.
Leica Cameras and Enhanced Imaging Features
Photography remains a key focus of the Xiaomi 17T Series, with Xiaomi continuing its collaboration with Leica. Both smartphones feature a triple rear-camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is equipped with a larger 1/1.31-inch sensor, while the standard Xiaomi 17T uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor. Both devices feature a Leica Summilux lens system with a 1G + 6P hybrid lens structure and Leica UltraPure optical design for improved light capture and image quality.
A major upgrade this generation is the inclusion of a 50MP Leica telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) on both models. The telephoto camera supports macro photography from as close as 30cm, up to 10x optical-grade zoom, and a maximum of 120x AI Ultra Zoom.
For videography, the Xiaomi 17T Pro supports 4K cinematic video recording at 60fps. The series also introduces new software features such as Stage Mode for enhanced clarity in challenging lighting environments and Leica Live Moment, which captures moments leading up to a still image. The Pro model further expands these capabilities with Ultra-HD Live Moment recording in 4K and dedicated live cinematography modes.
Xiaomi Vision Care Display Technology
The Xiaomi 17T Series debuts Xiaomi Vision Care, a display technology designed to reduce eye strain through intelligent ambient light adaptation and management of blue light, flicker, and motion blur. The displays have received multiple TÜV Rheinland certifications, including Intelligent Eye Care certification.

Both smartphones feature micro-curved edges and a brushed-finish frame. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is available in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black colour options, while the Xiaomi 17T comes in Opal White, Violet, Blue, and Black.
Performance and Battery
Xiaomi has equipped both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro with next-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, enabling larger battery capacities and improved energy density without significantly increasing the overall device size.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery, offering a 27% increase in capacity compared to its predecessor. It supports 100W HyperCharge wired fast charging, 50W wireless HyperCharge, and 100W PPS charging compatibility with supported third-party adapters.
The Xiaomi 17T features a 6,500mAh battery, which is 18% larger than the previous generation while maintaining a more compact form factor. The device supports 67W HyperCharge wired charging along with 50W PPS fast charging.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor built on an advanced 3nm process, while the Xiaomi 17T is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset based on a 4nm architecture. To ensure sustained performance, both smartphones incorporate Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system, which uses vapor-liquid separation technology to efficiently manage heat during demanding workloads such as gaming, video recording, and multitasking.
