Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro launched with 6.67-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8200-Ultra/Dimensity 9200+ SoC, IP68 ratings

Xiaomi has launched its latest top-end smartphones in the 13T series the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro at an event, as they promised. It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K CrystalRes Display with 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1200 nits high brightness display which features a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits, also 2880Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos with built-in dual speakers.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, while the Xiaomi 13T comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra SoC. Both of these smartphones feature a substantial 5000mm² VC stainless steel soaking plate.

Operating on Android 13 with the MIUI 14 user interface overlay, these devices come with a notable commitment from the company: users can expect to receive Android updates for up to four years and security updates for up to five years.

The Xiaomi 13T Series boasts a sophisticated triple-camera system with Summicron lenses developed in collaboration with Leica. This setup includes a 50MP primary camera with a 24mm equivalent focal length and a 7P aspherical lens, alongside a 50MP telephoto lens with a 50mm equivalent focal length. Additionally, there is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15mm equivalent focal length.

These cameras offer two distinct Leica styles: Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant Look. These styles deliver natural color reproduction, sharp contrast, well-defined shadows, and the iconic aesthetic associated with Leica imagery. They also introduce a customizable photographic styles feature within the Pro mode, which was initially introduced in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This allows users to fine-tune aspects like Tone, Tonality, and Texture during the initial capture stage, preserving more details and colors for post-processing. Users can even save their preferred presets for unique and personalized photographic styles.

Furthermore, the camera features extend to include 10-bit LOG 4:2:0 H.265 video recording, with a pre-installed Rec.709 LUT. The Xiaomi 13 Pro goes a step further by offering 8K video shooting capabilities. The 50MP wide-angle camera is equipped with both Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for steady and clear shots.

Additionally, they both boast an IP68 rating, signifying their resilience against dust and water. Both models are equipped with a 5000mAh battery. The Xiaomi 13T Pro offers support for Xiaomi's 120W HyperCharge technology, capable of achieving a full 100% charge in as little as 19 minutes. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13T features 67W fast charging, which can swiftly replenish up to 21% of the battery in just 5 minutes.

The Xiaomi 13T Series is available in three stylish color options: Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, and Black. The Alpine Blue variant distinguishes itself with a premium Xiaomi BioComfort vegan leather back panel, characterized by its soft and delicate texture, providing an exceptionally comfortable grip. Conversely, the Meadow Green and Black models sport a glossy glass back panel, imparting a luxurious and sleek aesthetic.
