All Windows Phone 8 devices to be upgraded to Windows 10

Windows 10 is already in the works for both mobile and PC. Microsoft has now said that all Windows Phone 8 devices will be upgraded to Windows 10. This is great news for Lumia owners who also got a taste of Windows Phone 8 on their handsets as soon as Microsoft released it officially.

Although at present there is no news as to when the roll-out will begin but a mid-2015 release is being stipulated. Microsoft is also working on new Windows 10 devices which are scheduled to launch next year. Notable changes in an upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update 2 include an improved Action Center with data toggle, sortable settings and support for Cortana in more regions. The next major update will be Windows 10 itself.
