Vivo Z5x goes official with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 710, triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery
Vivo Z5x is the latest mid-range smartphone in the Z series. This is the first smartphone from Vivo which features an in-screen camera that too in the mid-range segment.
The Z5x features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 90.77% screen-to-body ratio. Vivo is using a LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It runs on the Snapdragon 710 SoC with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB Storage.
Coming to cameras, in the front you get the 16-megapixel in-screen camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the rear it has a triple camera setup featuring a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.78 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra wide camera and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth camera for portrait shots.
GeekBench results of the Z5x point to decent scores with 1848 points in the single-core test and 5915 in the multi-core department. The results are similar to other Snapdragon 710 device like the Realme X and Oppo Reno.
The Vivo Z5x runs on Android 9 Pie with Funtouch 9 skin. There are three color variants, Extreme Night Black, Phantom Black, and Aurora - with a gradient finish on the back.
The Vivo Z5x has a huge 5000mAh battery with support of 18W type-c fast charging. It will be going on sale in China from June 1. There is no official date or information about an India launch.
