Vivo Y300 launched with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, three-way speaker system, 6500mAh battery
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the ‘Y series’ lineup, the Vivo Y300 in China, as previously announced. The smartphone features a 6.77-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1800 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming (default 2160Hz, enabled through developer mode). The screen is protected by Diamond Shield glass.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, the standout feature of the Y300 is its advanced rear speaker system. vivo claims the new-generation three-speaker matrix—comprising AAC 1326D rear speakers, AAC 1116B lower speakers, and Goertek 0809 upper speakers—delivers 600% louder sound compared to standard smartphones, with peak power reaching 4.5W. The phone also supports 3D panoramic audio for an immersive experience.
For cameras, the device includes a 50MP primary rear sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera. The Y300 houses a massive 6500mAh battery with an energy density of 776Wh/L and supports 44W fast charging. Additionally, it offers IP64 dust and splash resistance and holds SGS five-star drop and fall certification for durability.
