Vivo Y300 5G launching in India on November 21st; Expected 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC
Vivo has confirmed the launch of its latest 5G smartphone in the 'Y Series,' the Vivo Y300 5G in India on November 21. Vivo has revealed the phone's design along with series brand ambassador Suhana Khan holding the device.
The design of the Y300 5G appears similar to that of the vivo V40 Lite, which launched globally in September, including the same colour options: Titanium Silver, Dynamic Black, and Emerald Green. This suggests that the V40 Lite may be rebranded as the Y300 5G in India.
For reference, the V40 Lite features a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, and includes a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, aura light, and 32MP front camera. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, and a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Details about the Y300’s RAM and storage variants are expected soon, as the V40 Lite offers 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB options in different markets. The Y300 5G is expected to be available on Flipkart, the vivo India e-Store, and through all partner retail stores after the launch.
