Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro mini launched with up to 6.78-inch 120Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED Screen, Dimensity 9400 SoC

Vivo has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones in the new X200 series, the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini in China. As previously promised, these devices come with notable features. The X200 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPS display, while the X200 Pro and X200 Pro mini offer 6.78-inch and 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screens, respectively, with peak brightness reaching up to 4500 nits, utilizing 8T LTPO technology. All models also support 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

These phones are run on the latest Dimensity 9400 chipset, which has achieved a score of 3.04 million points in performance tests. They come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The X200 Pro also has a 1TB version with satellite communication support via the Beidou network and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM.

All phones are based on Android 15 with Origin OS 5.0, the X200 and X200 Pro are available in Sapphire Blue, Titanium White, and Moonlight Night Black, while the X200 Pro mini comes in Titanium Blue, Pink, White, and Simple Black. All models feature IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The smartphones are equipped with vivo’s collaboration with Sony, featuring the LYT-818 1/1.28″ sensor with T* coating, built using 22nm process technology. This sensor supports native HDR effects at multiple focal lengths, offering a 400% increase in dynamic range. Video capabilities include 4K backlit portrait video, 4K 60fps Dolby Vision, 4K 120fps slow-motion, and 4K 60fps 10-bit log shooting across full focal lengths.

The X200 Pro incorporates the 200MP ISOCELL HP9 sensor co-developed with Samsung, the same as in the X100 Ultra. Its periscope camera features a 1/1.4″ sensor, f/2.67 aperture, and an 85mm equivalent focal length, delivering 3.7x optical zoom and 20x magnification in telephoto macro mode. It also boasts CIPA 4.5 stabilization, Zeiss T* coating, and APO certification for improved clarity and reduced colour fringing.

The X200 and X200 Pro mini come with a 50MP IMX882 Zeiss super-telephoto camera with Zeiss T* coating, an f/2.57 aperture, and advanced image enhancement technology for clearer results at higher magnifications above 10x, despite having 3x optical zoom. All phones also feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera.

Battery capacities vary across the models: the X200 has a 5800mAh battery with 90W flash charging, and it can operate in temperatures as low as -20°C. The X200 Pro comes with a 6000mAh battery, and the X200 Pro mini has a 5700mAh battery. Both Pro models support 90W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

The phones are now available for pre-order, with the X200 and X200 Pro set to launch in China on October 19th, while the X200 Pro Mini will be available starting October 25th.
