vivo X Fold6 to be launched on June 26th with 200MP Camera, Dimensity 9500 Super Edition SoC
Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its next-generation foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold6 in China on June 26, after teasing. The company has also revealed that the device will be available in three color options: Blue, Salt Lake, and Polar Night.
Advanced Imaging System with ZEISS Optics
Positioned as vivo’s most powerful foldable imaging flagship to date, the X Fold6 is being promoted as a “foldable mini DSLR.” The smartphone features a 200MP imaging sensor and becomes the first foldable device to incorporate a ZEISS APO Super Periscope Telephoto Lens. It is further enhanced by vivo’s dedicated V3+ Imaging Chip for improved computational photography and image processing.
The camera system supports the vivo ZEISS G2 Teleconverter, offering an equivalent focal length of 200mm. Additional imaging features include Blueprint Native Colors, Blueprint Color Palette, and multiple professional color styles designed to deliver enhanced photographic flexibility.
Next-Generation Foldable Display Technology
The vivo X Fold6 utilizes the latest generation of luminous display materials on both its inner and outer screens. Notably, the foldable features a Samsung M14 luminous material inner display, marking the first time this technology has been used in a foldable smartphone.
According to vivo, the new display material delivers higher peak brightness while significantly improving power efficiency, contributing to a better viewing experience and longer battery life.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, a chipset that vivo describes as being specially optimized for large-screen foldable smartphones.
