Vivo X Fold2 with water drop hinge, Vivo X Flip and Vivo Pad2 to be launched on April 20
Vivo has confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship phones the Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip, and Vivo Pad 2 in China on April 20th. The Vivo X Fold 2 is the company’s third-generation foldable smartphone after the X Fold and the X Fold+. The Vivo Pad 2 is the successor of last year’s Vivo Pad, and the Vivo X Flip is the company’s first flip smartphone. The company is not updating the X Note this year.
Vivo X Fold2 will feature an ultra-durable water drop hinge, which not only reduces the thickness and weight but also makes the creases of the giant screen less visible. The hinge uses durable aerospace-grade materials and has passed 400,000 Rheinland certifications. The Vivo X Fold2 also gets internal and external ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors, as the previous generation.
