Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro launching in India on October 4 with Curved Display, 12MP Portrait Camera
Vivo has initiated teasers for the upcoming V29 series smartphones, marking the next additions to the V series lineup in India. This follows the introduction of the V29 model just over a month ago in the Czech Republic. While the teaser only hints at an impending launch, the company has provided a definitive date for the phone's debut in India by stating, "Stay Tuned till We Meet on October 4."
The teaser draws attention to the phone's curved screen, Aura Light feature, and rear design. Additionally, it highlights that this phone will be the first in India to incorporate 3D Particle Technology. Vivo has also officially announced that the phone will be offered in three distinct colors: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. Notably, the Majestic Red edition features the Color Changing Glass, while the Himalayan Blue variant exclusively incorporates the 3D Particle Technology.

The vivo V29 was unveiled in Malaysia earlier today, with a starting price of RM 1,899 (approximately USD 405 or Rs. 33,580). Consequently, it's reasonable to anticipate a similar price range for its launch in India. We anticipate receiving more comprehensive information in the upcoming weeks.
Vivo V29 Pro -
vivo has also officially announced that the V29 Pro will be equipped with an innovative 2x pro portrait camera featuring a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor. This camera is designed to deliver impeccable edge detection and create stunning background bokeh effects. The V29 Pro is confirmed to weight 188g, as per the company's statement.
Given that the vivo S17 Pro was introduced globally as the V29 with Snapdragon 778G SoC, the Vivo V29 Pro will likely be released with some high camera features. These two models share similarities in terms of display, design, front camera specifications, and battery capacity. However, the Pro variant is distinguished by its use of the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and its inclusion of a 50MP rear camera featuring the Sony IMX766V sensor, alongside the 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera.
We should know more details and the exact price of the phones when these are officially launched next month.
