Twitter gets Animated GIF support on mobile and online
Twitter has finally added support for Animated GIFs to both its online service and mobile apps. The feature is now live on Twitter.com, Android and iPhone. The announcement came as a tweet with, you guessed it, an animated GIF embedded in it.

Twitter has also added support for Animated GIF files so other mobile clients can make use of the feature.
