This Is What The Honor 8 Looks Like
Huawei Honor 8 has been certified by TENNA and has given us a good look at its specifications, dual cameras.
Honor is set to hold an event in China on July 11th where the new smartphone is expected to launch. Coming to specs, it will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display running on the Kirin 950 SoC with three options for storage and memory, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB Storage.
Camera specs include two 12MP cameras at the back with an 8MP front-camera for selfies. Then there would be support for dual-SIM slots, USB Type-C port with fast charging and a 2900 mAh battery to keep everything running. The Honor 8 is expected to launch with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based EUI 4.1 out of the box.
Looking at the images taken from TENNA, the Honor 8 seems to have a metal frame but the highlight of the phone would be the dual-cameras at the back with what seems to be a laser autofocus sensor. Then you also have a fingerprint sensor just below the main camera module at the back.
Although there is no confirmation, we have some word on the pricing of the Honor 8. The base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage is expected to come in at CNY 1,999 (about Rs 20,300) while the 4GB of RAM variant with 64GB onboard storage should be priced around CNY 2,499 (about Rs 25,400) while the 128GB storage option with 4GB RAM could go for CNY 2799 (about Rs. 28500.)
