Sony Xperia 1 II 5G available from July 24 in the US, pre-orders starts on June 1
Sony has introduced its new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) at an online event in the Global Market in February 2020. It has a 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has a 3.5 audio jack.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 865 processor with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB Storage, and works on Stock Android 10. Sony said that its 5G wireless bands will work in the US, so it will only support 4G and work with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, and MetroPCS networks.
It has triple rear cameras setup where a 12 MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS along with 12 MP ultra-wide camera, a 12 MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x lossless zoom, and also has a 3D iToF (indirect Time-of-Flight) sensor. It also features ZEISS optics with T* (T-Star) anti-reflective coating that gives the best quality of images and delivers the best photography experience and up to 20fps AF/AE tracking burst.
Now, Sony has recently announced the price of the Xperia 1 II at $1,199 (approximately Rs. 91,210) in the US and it will availability from July 24. The pre-orders have started on June 1 and also mentioning that it offering a pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 headphones anyone who pre-orders the phone by June 28.
The Sony Xperia 1 II comes in Black, White, and Purple colors, and the company will also ship the device in India soon, but there are no more details yet.
