Sony announces list of devices getting Android 4.3 update

Since the proverbial cat's out of the hat, Sony has come out with its list of devices that will get the Android 4.3 update, although the company is still seeding Android 4.2 for the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL. So here's are the Sony phones that will definitely get Android 4.3 update, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia SP and the Xperia Z Ultra. On the tablet front only the Xperia Tablet Z has been confirmed to receive the new Android 4.3 update.

There are some Sony devices that are running Android 4.1 and may make the jump directly to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but no specifics have been mentioned. Sony has acknowledged that its updates haven't been timely, but their developers have changed their workflow which will insure that future updates are delivered quickly.
