Snapdragon 615 powered Lyf Earth 2 launched in India priced at Rs. 21599
Reliance today launched the Lyf Earth 2 in India with a 5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 on top, running on the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage.
The Lyf Earth 2 comes with a metal frame at 7.2mm in thickness, with a 2500 mAh battery inside. There's a 13MP rear camera here with phase-detection auto-focus and a 13MP autofocus front-facing camera for selfies.
There is an Iris scanning option available on the phone as well to unlock it, but you can use the fingerprint sensor up front as well. The Earth 2 is a 4G LTE capable smartphone with VoLTE support but features a hybrid Dual-SIM slot. Sadly, it still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and there is no word on whether an update to Marshmallow will come in the future.
Reliance Jio 4G network is still to go live for the public, you can go ahead and try the connection by buying a Lyf smartphone with unlimited voice calls and data for 3 months.
Pricing and Availability
The Lyf Earth 2 has been priced at Rs. 21,599 and comes in green, white, gold as well as midnight black colors.
