Breaking: The Galaxy Note 7 Is No More, Samsung Permanently Discontinues Production

Although it was bound to happen, this still came as a shock. Samsung has permanently discontinued production of the Galaxy Note 7, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

Samsung in a filing to Korean regulators said that they are permanently ceasing sales of the Galaxy Note 7. This comes in just a day after the company asked to switch off all devices and return them for a refund or another Samsung smartphone.

In a bizzare sequence of events which started with the initial recall of the Galaxy Note 7 in just a few weeks then culminating into replacement units blowing up. The company is now essentially recalling all Galaxy Note 7 devices and you will never be able to buy the phone again.
