Samsung announced Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch Monitor with 4K 240Hz Mini LED 1000R curved screen along with Smart Monitor M8 and High-Resolution Monitor S8
Samsung has announced its world’s first monitor the Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) 1000R curved screen, 240Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time (GtG). The Odyssey Neo G8 gaming monitor features Quantum Mini LEDs, Quantum HDR 2000 with a 2,000nit peak brightness, and a million-to-one static contrast ratio.
It is built with a similar design language as the Odyssey Neo G9, which offers a sleek white exterior that stands out even when it’s turned off. Beautiful colors leap off the screen into a user’s real environment with CoreSync lighting. The core lighting found on the backside of the monitor automatically detects colors on the screen and projects them in real life to create a deeper sense of immersion.
Smart Monitor M8 -
The company also announced Samsung Smart Monitor M8 32-inch with an ultra-slim thick body of 11.4mm, and features a sophisticated flat-back design with enhanced usability, and comes in a new warm white color. The monitor has a UHD panel with 99% sRGB color gamut, supports 1.07 billion colors and 400 nit brightness, which shows every video, document, or photo with true-to-life accuracy.
It has Smart TV and productivity apps built into the monitor, enabling seamless entertainment and work while serving as a SmartThings control hub, even without the need for a PC. The monitor comes with a movable magnetic SlimFit Cam for crystal-clear video calls, and the built-in Video Call application supports the most popular calling apps, including Google Duo. It has a USB Type-C port that provides 65W charging connections.
Samsung High-Resolution Monitor S8 -
Samsung also introduced a new High-Resolution Monitor S8 available in 27-inch and 32-inch models with a UHD screen, up to 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA Display HDR 600, and this is the world’s first UL (Underwriter Laboratories) verified Glare-Free monitor where a Matte Display applied on the top of the panel, as per the Samsung.
Both monitors feature USB Type-C 90W charging and LAN ports that can charge laptops and mobile devices with no additional docking station required. It has VESA mount compatibility standards, as well as a Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) featuring tilt, swivel, and pivot control points, users can mount their monitor to suit any environment.
The Prices of all these monitors will be announced after these are showcased at the CES 2022 this week.
