Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Z Fold7 smartphone later this year. While earlier leaks suggested the device would measure 4.5mm when unfolded and 9mm when folded, tipster ICE CAT (@UniverseIce) has now claimed those figures are inaccurate.

According to the latest information, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will measure just 3.9mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded, potentially making it the slimmest foldable phone at the time of its release. Previously, the OPPO Find N5 held that title, with a thickness of 4.21mm when unfolded and 8.93mm folded.

The Fold7 is expected to retain its 4400mAh battery, but offer an upgrade to 45W fast wired charging—up from the 25W seen in the Z Fold6. Rumors also point to a new S Pen with a thicker tip, designed to improve the writing and drawing experience on the foldable display.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is rumored to feature a 4300mAh battery, matching its predecessor. Additionally, the base model of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series is said to continue Samsung's focus on slim, sleek designs.

More details, including full specifications, are expected to surface in the coming months, with the official launch anticipated in July.
