Samsung is preparing to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, likely in July. While earlier leaks and unofficial renders have surfaced, a new report from Android Headlines has revealed what appear to be official images of both devices.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be offered in Blue Shadow and Jet Black color options, with more variants expected at launch. One of its key highlights is its ultra-slim profile, with thickness reportedly ranging from 3.9mm to 4.5mm when unfolded. However, the 3.9mm figure may be slightly optimistic due to physical constraints.

Samsung has also redesigned the hinge to be slimmer than the one on the Fold 6, helping reduce the device’s weight to around 215 grams. If accurate, this would make it 24 grams lighter than its predecessor and even lighter than the OPPO Find N5—currently the slimmest foldable phone on the market.

The external display is being expanded from 6.3 to 6.5 inches, while the internal foldable screen is expected to grow to 8.2 inches, making it the largest display in a foldable device so far, surpassing the OPPO Find N5’s 8.12-inch screen.

    Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 -

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 sports a significantly larger cover screen that spans nearly the entire outer panel, similar to the Motorola Razr Ultra. It’s still unclear whether Samsung will enable full app functionality on this display, a feature already available on Motorola’s version.

This model is also thinner and lighter than the previous generation. It’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy—a custom-tuned version of Qualcomm’s latest chip—with a Prime core running at up to 4.47GHz.

The Flip 7 will include 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Camera hardware is likely to remain unchanged, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The battery is expected to stay around the 4,000mAh mark.

    Launch Timeline -

Samsung is expected to officially unveil both foldables at its Summer Unpacked event, rumored to take place on July 9 in New York City. With the launch just weeks away, official announcements and invitations should be coming soon.
