Samsung has launched their mid-range Galaxy Tab A (2017) here in India. Just a couple of months ago, the company had also launched its flagship Galaxy Tab S3 with S-Pen priced at Rs. 47,990.
The Galaxy Tab A (2017) on the other hand offers modest specifications including an 8-inch WXGA display with no specified protection. The processing power is provided by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 mobile platform. It has 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card slot. The Tab A also supports 4G LTE with voice calling.
When it comes to the camera, the tablet features both front and rear ones. The back camera houses an 8 MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash for lowlight photography. Up front, there's a 5MP selfie camera.
Below the display, you have Samsung’s signature capacitive buttons with the physical home button in the middle. The Galaxy Tab A comes in black and gold colors, and it will cost you Rs. 17,990. You can buy it from Samsung India Online Store and retail shops as well.
With the tablet, Samsung is also offering a one-time screen replacement within one-year from the purchase date. Moreover, you can also avail 180GB 4G data from Jio for over a year if you buy the Galaxy Tab A (2017) before November 19.
