Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge prices cut by Rs. 5500 in India
Just ahead of the Galaxy Note 7 sale in India, Samsung has slashed the prices of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India by atleast Rs. 5500.
The 32GB Galaxy S7 is now selling on Amazon and Flipkart for Rs. 43,400. That's a price cut of Rs. 5500 from the launch price of Rs. 48,900. The Galaxy S7 Edge has also received a price cut of Rs. 6000 and is now selling for Rs. 50,900.
Just to refresh your memory, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India run on the Exynos 8890 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage which is expandable. You have a 5.1-inch display on the smaller S7 and 5.5-inch curved Super AMOLED display on the Edge variant. Both were among the top 3 most selling smartphones in the first half of 2016 and have been lauded the world over for their cameras, design and being dust/water resistant.
The Galaxy Note 7 will be going on sale on September 2nd priced at Rs. 59,900 and is available on pre-order which will get you the new GearVR at a discounted price of Rs. 1990.
