Samsung Galaxy S7 to launch on February 21?

Samsung might be planning to launch the Galaxy S7 a bit earlier next year. According to a "tipster that has been right many times in the past," the Galaxy S7 will be unveiled on February 21st, which is the eve of MWC 2016 (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona.

MWC Barcelona will start on February 22nd, a week earlier than it did last year. Therefore again just like last year when Samsung launched the Galaxy S6/Edge on March 1st, just a day before MWC 2015, we might see the same happen again.

At present there are no reports on what the Galaxy S7 is supposed to sport. Rumors however do point to the Snapdragon 820 SoC, which Samsung is making for Qualcomm. The Galaxy S6/S6 Edge were a radical shift in design and build for the company and we presume that the same will be carried forward with some refinements which we have already seen on the Note5 and S6 Edge Plus.
