Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge gets December security patch with new update
Samsung has been one of the very few smartphone manufacturers that have been continuously sending out security updates as well as minor bug fixes to most of its line-up. Even budget smartphones are updated to the latest security patch within a month or so of release.
Its always a great feeling to see that update notification in your status bar, which does make you believe that the manufacturer hasn't abandoned your smartphone.
Keeping with its schedule, Samsung has started rolling out a new OTA update for the Galaxy S7 Edge with the December security patch. The update has been spotted in Australian units of the S7 Edge, and is expected to roll out in other regions in the coming days. You will get a notification when the update is available for your device, but if you can't wait then just head over to your phone settings and check if any is available.
