Samsung Galaxy S6 dimensions, possible design leaks online
Samsung needs a home-run and they are expecting the Galaxy S6 to do just that. Today we have a few images which show the Galaxy S6 in a case and in a few drawings which depict a chance in the overall design of the Samsung flagship alongwith its dimensions.
Lets first get what we know out of the way, the Galaxy S6 is supposed run on the company's own Exynos 7420 Octa-core processor (Why not Snapdragon 810?) with 3 GB RAM, 5.2-inch Quad-HD display (2560 x 1440) and a 20 MP OSI camera.
Let's start at the back as the front looks pretty much the same as it did on the last-gen Galaxy S5. You have a rather large camera sensor there with the LED flash and the heartrate monitor clubbed to its right. You will find the volume-rocker on the left while the power button sits pretty on the right.
Coming to overall dimensions of the inner case, you are looking at a 143.5 x 70.7 x 7.2 mm device, which is quite manageable in one hand and a smidgen thinner than the Galaxy S5. So, in terms of size you are looking at almost the same as the Galaxy S5.
The bottom part will now house the speaker as well, alongwith the USB port and primary microphone while you can find the audio jack and noise-cancellation mic at the top. There isn't much known about the build materials Samsung is going to use for the Galaxy S6 but there are rumors pointing to a metal frame like the Galaxy Alpha.
