Samsung begins rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Galaxy S5 in India
As we had earlier pointed out, Samsung is now focusing to make its software better and provide regular updates to its customers.
The company has just started rolling out Android Marshmallow to Galaxy S5 users in India. The build version after the update jumps to G900IDDU1CPD1. With the new update Galaxy S6 users will get a taste of the new toned down TouchWiz UX with Doze mode for better battery life and better general performance as well.
Then there's support for Google Now on Tap contextual search, App Permissions and App Links. The Galaxy S5 is now selling for as low as Rs. 18000 in India and in its own right is still a decent buy as it still offers water and dist resistance, which cannot be said about most other phones in its price segment. Moreover with the recent update, it definitely has become a viable option.
Although at present we don't know how the update is faring on the device, if you have received Marshmallow Update on the Galaxy S5 in India, then please do hit us in the comments section below with your experience.
