Samsung has officially announced the global launch of the world's thinnest smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, 2025, after rumours. The company has confirmed that the device will feature a powerful 200MP main camera and emphasized that it offers more than just a slim form factor.

First showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080) Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB. The dual rear camera setup includes a 200MP main sensor (ISOCELL HP2) and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

The device reportedly measures 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84mm (excluding the camera bump) and houses a 3900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, similar to the standard Galaxy S25.

In terms of design, the S25 Edge will be available in three finishes: Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icy Blue. It’s rumored to start at €1,249 (approximately USD 1,385 / INR 1,17,680) for the 256GB model—positioning it between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra. Pre-reservations are already open in the U.S., with customers receiving a $50 Samsung credit.
