Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Surfaced Online; Expected Exynos 2400 SoC in Majority of Markets
Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy S24 FE later this year, succeeding the Galaxy S23 FE. The Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the region.
Likewise, the Galaxy S24 FE is reported to feature the Exynos 2400 SoC in most regions and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in select markets, mirroring the setup of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, according to information shared by tipster @OreXda.
However, the tipster suggests that Samsung may opt for the Exynos chipset globally, leaving the possibility of a Snapdragon variant uncertain until benchmarks are revealed.
The new phone is expected to receive a RAM upgrade from 8GB to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while maintaining 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and potentially introducing a 256GB (UFS 4.0) variant.
The Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to retain a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Following the introduction of an aluminum frame in the S23 FE, a similar design approach is anticipated for the S24 FE.
Further details are likely to emerge in the coming months, with the launch anticipated in Q4 2024.
