Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 4G Budget smartphones launched in China
We have been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy On5 and On7 for a little over a month now, and finally the budget 4G LTE smartphones have gone official in China. Let's have a look at both devices.
Samsung Galaxy On5
The Galaxy On5 comes with a 5-inch HD display running on Samsung's own Exynos 3475 quad-core processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 1.5 GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports dual-SIM 4G LTE.
There is a 8MP f/2.2 camera at the back capable of recording 1080p videos here alongwith a 5MP front-facing unit. There is no selfie flash here, unlike the Galaxy J5. A 2600 mAh battery keeps the phone alive.
Samsung Galaxy On7
The Galaxy On7 comes with a 5.5-inch display keeping with Samsung's naming convention. It again bears the same 720p HD resolution and runs on an un-named quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (probably Snapdragon 410). There's the same 1.5GB RAM here, 8GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB with a microSD card slot. It is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device and there's a 3000 mAh battery here.
A 13MP camera sits at the back with LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos along with a 5MP front-camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on both include 4G LTE, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS support, FM Radio. The Galaxy On5 will be available in Black and Gold colors, while the Galaxy On7 will come in white and gold. There is no detail on pricing or availability yet. But given that both these phones were listed on Samsung India website just a while back before being yanked, there is a good chance you'll be seeing them in India soon.
