Samsung is prepping a new Galaxy Note tablet, 12.2-inch 2560 x1600 pixels display
Samsung is working on a new Galaxy Note Tablet with 12.2-inch display with a WQXGA (2560x1600 pixels) resolution. The news comes from ETNews who also say that both Samsung Displays and Sharp are going to make the display panel from the upcoming tablet. The tablet will also have S-Pen support which is exclusive to the Galaxy Note line of Samsung.
Although there are many android tablets in the market, but apart from Samsung's Galaxy Tab line-up none have been able to make a dent in the sales of the Apple iPad. The Galaxy Tab 2, Galaxy Tab 10.1 together essentially make up for more than half of the Android tablet sales in the US, which is nothing compared to the sales of the iPad. Although the Galaxy Note line-up has shaken things in the smartphone world, it is yet to been what effect it has in the tablet wars.
