Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G launched in India starting at Rs.19,999 with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP front camera
Samsung has unveiled its latest smartphone in the M series, the Galaxy M55 5G in India, as previously announced. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and includes a 50MP rear camera with 1.5˚ OIS and VDIS, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there's a 50MP front camera.
It is based on Android 14 with One UI 6, Samsung guarantees four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches. It also comes with Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based, tamper-resistant security solution. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. However, a charger is not included in the box.
