Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 12,999 with 6.7-inch 120Hz LCD screen, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 6000mAh Battery
Samsung has launched its latest budget smartphone in the M-series, the Galaxy M17e 5G in India, as previously announced. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch design, and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.
For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, plus an 8MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, supports Gemini Live features, and is promised to receive 6 major OS updates along with 6 years of security patches.
In terms of design, the phone is 8.2mm thick and comes with a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back panel. It also features a key island layout for easier button access and carries an IP54 rating for basic dust and splash resistance. The device is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery and supports 25W charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G is offered in Vibe Violet and Blitz Blue colour options, with a starting price of Rs. 12,999. The Customers will get a launch discount of Rs. 1,250, then the effective price starts at Rs.11,749.
