Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) variant with 2GB RAM surfaces online
About 2 months ago an import listing revealed that the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) was imported in India and now it seems there are two variants of the phone.
Benchmarks on GeekBench revealed that the Galaxy J2 2016 (SM-J210F) would come with 1.5GB RAM while an AnTuTu benchmark listing says that it will come with 2GB RAM. The rest of the specs are pretty much similar for both variants including the Spreadtrum SC8830 SoC which just supports 3G networks. However, we may see its LTE variant the SC9830 on the Galaxy J2 instead, same as the Galaxy J3 (2016).
The Galaxy J2 2016 edition is expected to run on Android Marshmallow right out of the box.
