Samsung Galaxy J1 goes official with 4.3-inch display, dual-core processor
Samsung has just unveiled its first smartphone in the budget Galaxy J lineup. Called the Galaxy J1, it comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display running on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM which is expandable upto 128 GB with a microSD card.
There's a 5 MP snapper at the back and a 2 MP front camera. An 1850 mAh battery keeps the lights with company claim of over 10 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS support.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz on top. Its a small light device weighing in at 122 grams and is quite thin at 8.9 mm considering its a budget device. The Galaxy J1 will be available in Black, Blue and White colors, but at the moment there is no word on availability or pricing.
