Samsung Galaxy Core Advance launched with 4.7-inch display, dual-core processor

    Samsung Galaxy Core Advance has been made official in Korea, the new iteration of the Galaxy Core features a larger 4.7-inch WVGA resolution display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB RAM running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI on top. It has been priced at 4,10,300 South Korean Won which is about Rs. 23,900 which is quite a hefty price but that's not the price it will be available internationally.

    There are major changes to the design of the Galaxy Core Advance which now sports three physical buttons below the display for Home, Menu and Back compared to the single physical home button and capacitive back and menu on the Galaxy Core. The overall look of the phone is now more rectangular while the Galaxy Core was more rounded. In terms of software features it has an optical scan feature which can read text from an image and speak it out loud. There is an instant voice recorder as well alongwith a screen curtain feature which allows users to operate the phone through a black screen saving battery life.

    The Galaxy Core Advance has 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB and comes with 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS connectivity options. For the time being only the single-SIM variant of the Advance has been launched, a dual-SIM variant is also expected. There's a 5 MP camera at the back which has a LED flash and capable of 720p video recording alongwith a VGA front-facing selfie shooter.
