Samsung Galaxy A26 5G launched in India Starting at Rs.24,999 with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, IP67 ratings
Samsung launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the A series, the Galaxy A26 5G in India, following its global debut earlier this month. The device boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, an Infinity-U notch, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
It runs on the Exynos 1380 chipset, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of storage. It runs on One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, promising up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates, similar to the A36 and A56 models. Notably, this is the first time the device features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy A26 5G sports a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It houses a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, though the charger is sold separately.
