Samsung 60W fast charger launched Globally with Super Fast Charging 2.0, PD 3.1, PPS charging

Samsung has quietly released a new 60W fast charger, arriving several years after its 45W fast charger, which remains the highest charging speed supported by its current smartphones and tablets. The charger also includes safeguards against overcurrent, overheating, and short circuits, and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0.
According to Samsung, the new charger is compatible with Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy Book devices, and a wide range of other supported products. It features low standby power consumption (under 5 mW) and incorporates Smart IC technology to minimize unnecessary energy usage.

Samsung’s new 60W fast charger is available in black and is priced at 52.90 Euros (USD 61.92 / approx. Rs. 5,570), which is 10 Euros higher than the 45W charger. It is already on sale in several European markets.
According to rumours, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to finally support 60W fast charging, with a launch anticipated in February 2026.
