Redmi Watch 3 Active launching in India on August 1 with Bluetooth calling support
Xiaomi's Redmi brand has confirmed the launch of its next smartwatch the Redmi Watch 3 Active in India on August 1st, alongside the Redmi 12. It will be the first Redmi smartwatch to come with voice-calling support in India.
The upcoming model will feature a sleek metallic design, support Bluetooth 5.3 for phone calls, provide continuous health monitoring around the clock, offer over 100 sports modes, allow customization with more than 200 watch faces, withstand water pressure of up to 5 ATM, and deliver up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge.
The watch has already been released in select countries, revealing its specifications. It will include a 1.83" LCD screen with a resolution of 240x280 pixels, offering a brightness of up to 450 nits. The available color options are Black and Grey, both accompanied by a matching strap. Notably, it lacks GPS support, a feature found in the previously launched Redmi Watch 3 earlier this year.
The Redmi Watch 3 Active will be available for purchase on mi.com as well as in offline stores. It is already available for sale in Europe at a price of 39.99 Euros (approximately Rs. 3,685), indicating that its launch in India is likely to be priced lower than that.
