Redmi Note 15 SE 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 19,999 with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 5800mAh battery
Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphone in the Note 15 series, the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition in India. It comes in a striking Crimson Reserve colour featuring a leather-inspired textured finish that delivers a premium, tactile feel. The vibrant red rear panel is paired with a gold-toned mid-frame, enhancing its refined and luxurious appeal. It is also available in Frosted White with a subtle marble-like pattern and a classic Carbon Black option.
The device retains the centrally positioned squircle-shaped camera module from the standard variant. However, the camera deco is now colour-coordinated with the red and gold theme, and each lens is accentuated with individual rings for a more distinctive look.
In terms of cameras, the Special Edition features a 50MP primary rear sensor, replacing the 108MP camera found on the REDMI Note 15. It also swaps the 8MP ultra-wide lens for a 2MP depth sensor. On the battery front, the phone packs a larger 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery while continuing to support 45W fast charging.
The rest of the specifications remain unchanged, including a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits peak brightness, a slim 7.35mm profile, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, 20MP front camera, Android 15 with HyperOS 2, IP65 and IP66 dust and splash resistance ratings, and military-grade durability.
